5.Custom Fabricated Structures (Sheds, Sumps, Play Structures)

Custom fabricated structures are tailor-made components or assemblies manufactured from materials like FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer), steel, or aluminum to meet specific design and functional requirements. These structures are designed to suit site conditions, user needs, and performance demands.

Unlike steel, GFRP does not rust, making it ideal for marine structures, bridges, coastal projects, chemical plants, and water treatment facilities where exposure to moisture, salts, or chemicals is unavoidable. Their lightweight nature makes them 4x easier to transport, handle, and install, reducing labor costs and improving site efficiency.

Manufacturing

Custom fabricated FRP/FGC structures such as sheds, sumps, and play structures are made by combining pultruded profiles, molded panels, and resin-infused laminates into required shapes and designs. The process begins with the production of standard FRP profiles and sheets through pultrusion or molding. These components are then cut, shaped, and assembled using adhesives, fasteners, and specialized joints to match the structural design. For larger structures like sheds or play systems, prefabricated panels and beams are fabricated in the factory and later assembled on-site for quick installation. Sumps and tanks are manufactured by molding FRP laminates layer by layer with resins and glass fibers, ensuring leak-proof performance and chemical resistance. Finally, finishing processes such as surface coating, UV protection, and coloring are applied to enhance durability and aesthetics.
